Bharti and Ramesh aged 5 years and 7 years He/She Lived in Bhuiya Basti (Dalit Area) in Village Akorhi Dist. Rohtash, Bihar had never been to school. Bharti and Ramesh aged 5 years and 7 years had never been to school. He used to help his mother in her domestic chores. He was illiterate. His friends went to school. He longed to go to school. His parents could not afford to send him to school. In his spare time he used to hang around here and there. He was crestfallen and sad.

The social worker of PSVK met the parents of Bharti and Ramesh to persuade them to send him to the Non Formal Education Centre run by PSVK at Akori Gola, Rohtash. Ultimately his parents released Bharti and Ramesh to attend PSVK supported School at Akorhi Gola, Rohtash, Bihar. He was very happy. Gradually by virtue of his perseverance he picked up to read and write. The printed words no longer seemed foreign to him. He no longer suffered from inferiority complex.

Bharti has been admitted to class 3 at the Gandhi Memorial Public School and Ramesh has been admitted in class 2 . He regularly attends the school. He is very attentive to his studies. He never keeps away from school. His parents are very happy over the progress of their children.
